wouldnt say that, for me it looks retarted completely, they butchered most of the cast
Yea nah m8.
The worst looking character in T8 so far (Paul I'd say) looks like a masterpiece next to whatever weird mong look they gave Ryu on this one

I saw the video posted above before your comment, and started it at a random point.
What I saw graphically, then when they accessed a menu with items and buffs or whatever?
I thought it was a Yakuza-style game they used for comparaison or whatever.
It's the World Tour mode aka. the new story mode that you don't have to play at all
It is absolutely fantastic at introducing the game and the fighters to beginners and casuals, that plus the new modern control scheme should allow this game to appeal to a wider audience while not lessening the experience for the old school cool
Things people that actually play these games (not just a couple of hours and then never again) are already well aware of
In the scene 6 is already shaping up to be one of the best SF ever
But I guess the rampant edge-lord schizophrenia in this forum won't let anyone see beyond some "apparent" wokeness in games they wouldn't have ever played either way, great hobby btw. (I'd suggest finding something better to do with ones' life)
But that won't stop me from continuing to main Cammy and looking at her ass in costume #2
I think it's cool
As a filthy casual with no interest in competitive fighting games, If I were to buy a fighting game again after like 20 years, it's gonna be for a weird fun adventure mode like SF6's
Likot Mosuskekim, Woodcutter cancels Sleep: Interrupted by Elephant.
It's not hot garbage at all, and thinking the World Tour is dumb is a silly take.
For the people who are here to play fighting games, the online component is there, the netcode is great, and this feels a lot better than V did from when it launched up until maybe like 3 or 4 years in.
The singleplayer stuff as well as Modern Controls is great because it brings in people who probably wouldn't be interested in a competitive fighting game by itself. If they have fun with the SP and it gets them interested in going deeper and maybe even playing online more, then that's already a win.
If it makes someone who likes the concept of fighting games but isn't very good at fighting games go out and get the game, then it's already done its job. This way, they get to still get a bunch of content to play instead of being stuck with just arcade mode and nothing else to do.
I'm not a fan of the art direction personally, especially for the stages, and I haven't read up on the battlepass much, but I'm sure that's going to be shit monetization as usual. There's also balance issues, as someone who decided to go with Manon because I think she's kinda like SFV Seth's neon 80s outfit visually, I still have to point out that I think having her command grab damage modifier stacks carry over between rounds is bullshit. If you managed to get up to level 5 stacks in the previous round, your command grabs now take out like 30% of your opponents health. It's insane. That needs a reset IMO.
So the game has issues, but if you're complaining about them adding sinpleplayer content while not taking anything away from the core content which is the multiplayer, then I don't think you actually play fighting games.
This is what the fighting games need to not die out again like they did in the early 2000s.
SP is all I've ever played in Street Fighter. I've been playing it since the 80s/early 90s where it was only available at the local bread shop on an arcade machine
I'm pretty sure Fighting Ground has that covered. Outside of fighting, World tour mode just looks... bad.
