Hopefully, the performance is better compared to the early access.
The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.
I don't think this has anything to do with that scene, although any publicity is good publicity.

The presentation, although a technical dissaster with streaming issues, was great. People that have doubts about the game should watch the last 45 minutes or so. It's stuff that has never been done before: they show 2 "evil" playthroughs in early act 2 that are totally different with high quality voice acted cinematics.
A lot of people defending it too, it's okay because the bear is a druid!! I guess it's ok if he shapeshifts to a 7yr old?
Also classic double standard.. gay on gay bear is brave and progressive but their sex positive attitude stops if it's a sexy woman / hetero..
and fuck Larian for steering the game into this SJW degenerate shit. It's illegal to produce content showing animal sex in many countries, a lot people can't even get refunds for this..
I'll hold judgement until I play it, mostly because this game is going to be HUGE and I don't think it's for certain that they cater only to a specific group

we have done quite a bunch of weid things over the years , fucking druid in bear for is nothing. Bards trying to seduce dragons has become kinda a meme in our plays , we had aristorcat party turn into vampire orgy, paladin running a zombie brothel in shadowplane, warlock burnt to death while trying to fuck a fire elemental ,.. just to name a few
weirdest part of it is that most of these ideas came from a strongly devoted christian pair that sometime play with us
I can't remember any romancing to be honest, but we were a bunch of young guys (15-18), yes sex and weird shit was likely described of course but actual romance, not really.
There's a lot of cooler shit they could've included over bear fucking tbh.

I think ive experienced pretty much everything during my 40 years of p&p roleplaying. Those kind of things always happened when i was a teenager - there are things that still happens, but due to much better roleplaying nowadays (with some exceptions) the people i play with are more serious (we still have loads of silly stuff, but we do try to keep within limits. Not always though )

This is the limiting factor of games (RPG's especially) today, that so much stuff has to be directed and written manually and there's no way you can include everything a GM could dream up.
Once machine learned AI is rolled out for real in games we will undoubtedly laugh at these earlier and in comparison poor attempts of RPGs. I bet even stories, quests and characters will improve, and if properly implemented we can chose how wild/serious/random a game can be.

One thing AI will improve, which i personally look forward to, is the fact that you wont really need voice actors as it can generate it - which means your name will actually be said by the npc's. Also, i love the way you can implement ai art for your own characters. But yeah, generation stuff will be awsome!
