Saner is not being serious. Unless its the subject of Santa!
Movies has never been as bad as now. How many new classics was created in the last 10 years compared to in the 90's?
Movies were good when it was about making a lot of money, because to make a lot of money you need a big audience, you need to please a ton of people. If you make movies for yourself or to please activist groups or just to shill for the government for ESG and current trends you're mostly gonna produce garbage. ESG wasn't a thing in the 90's.
The higher the budget the more likely it is that it's absolute garbage like Indiana jones or The Flash..
but they could absolutely do a good Indiana Jones movies if they wanted, something that would please the old fans, same with super hero movies, same with star wars. But they hate the fans so instead they try to piss them off, and yes they have pretty much perfected that part.
Who are the fans asking them to always turn Harrison Ford into a dead-beat dad (just as one example), is that what sells, is that what the fans can't wait to see in Star Wars or in a Indy movie? Do they want all these self-insert feminists who's teaching "the man" a lesson in every movie? Hardly.
This is why Disney is down the drain and they will rather go under than change it. They're doing movies as revenge and as hate-bait and that will not work in the long run.

There's a fine line between someone writing nonsense about a character's race, gender, orientation etc in a film and someone writing about the acting, looks, direction etc in a film. Gatekeeping legit discussion is plain silly unless you're a Hollyweird groupie
None of the retards mentioned here have an actual discussion about "acting, looks, direction etc in a film". So what the fuck is your point with that comment? "gAtE kEePiNg"
I was referring to the threads and users here which is why I said "writing", not the clowns in the video in which case I would have said "talking". Typical LeoDerpan... not reading a post properly and spamming the derp emoticon

not impressed. in the top 20 there's only 1 movie from the last 10 years. let's compare to a period of 10 years of the 90's and we can count 7 movies instead.
I’m at episode 9 of Star Wars (Disney) Andor. And this is pretty good. Certainly better than any series I saw in the 90ies, or different if you will.
Yes, there is alot of crap but not all of it.
"Enlightenment is man's emergence from his self-imposed nonage. Nonage is the inability to use one's own understanding without another's guidance. This nonage is self-imposed if its cause lies not in lack of understanding but in indecision and lack of courage to use one's own mind without another's guidance. Dare to know! (Sapere aude.) "Have the courage to use your own understanding," is therefore the motto of the enlightenment."
