Oh YES those frames are going to be SOOOO awesome on a Ratchet and Clank game. I mean the PS2 was a real frame engine on my TV Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

the one with the frame generation adds some latency, you can reduce it with reflex but still some left. but still better than playing with subpar fps

It doesn't add that much latency over the native input framerate, it's native latency + maybe a couple of ms

101fps is 9.9ms frametime? So 202 with DLSS3 is prolly under 12ms, probably 10.xms

It's all about that input latency and Reflex is also enforced with DLSS3

It'll always feel different than the real target framerate latency would but it's still preferable over native input framerate without smoother frames

Think back about the past of what you had to do to graphic settings to more than double your FPS.

I remember and it wasn't great. You'll not notice those new techs in comparison

well it probably won't be 60 but it's not 12ms Laughing would prefer dlss2 numbers.. or actually just native
i don't mind your segment on gpu tech, but this tech does add significant latency and that trade off is your decision to make

i myself don't care much for 200+ FPS (hell i'm only 165hz here) but i dont want to add latency or reduce image quality...
i believe pho08 was just pointing out they're gonna be using it as a development crutch rather than actual optimization. it's ok you can use dlss3 if you want Laughing

Yea well they don't even have 10ms or sub 10ms on native 120hz because they are measuring full system latency (minus monitor) with FrameView

I was thinking more general render latency

Not sure what FPS you would have to run a game at to get 10ms system latency by the time it reaches the monitor, 400+ fps? Natively.

The DLSS3 added complete system latency is 10ms or less at FPS over 100? That's more than fine.

That's like running a game with reflex or without which most people wouldn't even notice

any idea where to change the audio language in the FLT rls? it's taken from the Steam settings

edit: ok, got it. It's in the flt.ini file in the game installation folder

edit2: ok, no idea what to change it to so that it takes effect and the audio is in polish

Why do I even care about all the DLSS shit anyway? It's a cartoon game. I can't really bother with all the effects. It's a cartoon game. I mean this type of game does well with any frame rate over 40fps. It's a cartoon game. Why is my graphics card running hot while playing? It's a cartoon game!!! I lowered everything and to be honest it looks fine. It's a cartoon game.
