At 1500 hours over 12 years which is low numbers for the POE community, I've probably still never seen 30% of the games content, there's easy 10 bosses I've never beaten, I've never fully finished one of the endgame content expansions like Syndicate, Heist, Abyss either..
so much polish.. better visually than D4 then I think their art style is just better. From a business perspective it would make a lot of sense for Tencent to dumb the gameplay down to oblivion will have to wait and see.
The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.
kinda weird they will skip this huge opportunity to real in all the disgrunted bored d4 players wanting to scratch the loot fix , they are litterly giving blizzard the chance to fix their turd with a pushed out expansion summer next year, thats just stupid on a busines level
just release the first acts like u did with poe1, nothing is worse then d4, NOTHING

d4 is made for casuals, i doubt that many people will switch to another arpg, sure some but not many. so they won't miss out on that much.
since im a casual i can relate, i don't give a shit about awesome builds and trying one class and build after another. i want an action game with fun gameplay which keeps me busy which d4 did good for 125 hours, after that it failed to keep up.
people play it because it's d4, not because it's an arpg
there is nothing casual about a battlepas that needs 100 hours to complete though u might think it was made for casuals but they really designed the turd to appease long term players to log in daily and spend hours and lots of money and that just totally failed and missed the mark, and just got lucky it pleased some of the casuals
there is nothing in the game that is really made with casuals in mind, world bos, not causal, helltides, not casual, difficult bosses, not casual
ive had many casual gamers ask me to help them with duriel and the story end game bosses cause they leveled to fast doing side quests and now at lvl 50 the bosses are to hard for them due to scaling ...

if you design a game for long term players you make sure there is endgame and there is pretty much none in d4, so they don't give a shit about those people.
they won't be able to push out that much free content in a short time so this will go on for a long time. don't expect there to be endgame before a first paid dlc. long term players are gone now already, they won't be back then.
every casual can complete the gamepass in 3 months. "long term players" are done in 3-4 weeks already.

It's not designed for casuals at all, you really are missing the point of Blizzard's goals with D4, They want you to play and play and then play some more. It definitely is not designed for a casual player base. And of course with the patch a few days ago it is even less of a casual experience.
I suspect they expanded scope both when
a) they saw d4 would release much later than expected.
b) saw d4 was a crap casual mmo game, theres no reason for them to launch soon. POE is only gaining more players and has healthy player retention.
Does look good. There are a lot of twirly and spinny animations in the trailer which im assuming are going to get simplified. look cool in a trailer but can be annoying during gameplay when you don't have control over when you're gonna do them. See witcher games as prime example.

My biggest problem with the game has always been the zoom, shit graphics and combat does not have any feedback, now they have fixed it all in PoE2, looks really damn good.

Weird, I don't remember seeing you comment on D4's shit camera
