But the thing is, there are quite a few not playing it as singleplayer but rather coop.
In the 90s games like this was quite big imo.

a lot of games are good. doesnt mean it will translate into commercial success the likes the world has never seen before for a game of this type. Of any type.
This is the 25th game ever on steam now. Seems its gonna pass GTA 5 even. We're in record setting territory right now. This is not a normal release that everyone else can just replicate if only they make good games. Think about the genre it is and the gameplay it has. There are people alive today that are calling these games "thos games where you look at the char from above"
GTA 5 conquered. As far as traditional singleplayer games go, only Cyberpunk, Elden Ring, Hogwarts and Fallout 4 are above it. The rest are multi only or focused
