Yeah but for the girls no one makes nude mods for dudes so there was no danger for him in any case |
Whilst this is generally true, you seen the nexusmods section for Resident evil 2 lately? Very uh... equal opportunity.

This is silly, either introduce a new main character or just change his face/voice. No one outside of Japan knows or cares who he is.

https://www.pcgamer.com/yakuza-spin-off-judgment-and-its-sequel-are-coming-to-pc/
Quote: | Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio's detective agency spin-off from its Yakuza series has so far been console-exclusive, but hot damn, it's finally on the way to PC. As spotted by Nibellion on Twitter, the ESRB has listed official age ratings (Mature) for both Judgment and Lost Judgment on PC, which makes this almost certainly a sure thing. Nothing's final till it's final, but the RGG Summit livestream scheduled for this week seems very likely to be when we see an official reveal for these long-awaited PC ports. |

Very cool and definitely worth playing if you miss the Yakuza combat.
Lost Judgment is miles better than Judge Eyes, though story for both titles are still pretty Yakuza in that the writing is meeeeeeh

Good games, lost has more fun gameplay but Judgment has better story imo. But to me both were less good then any of the Yakuza games, it's like i felt like there's almost none cool bad character in both games, while Yakuza 0 by itself had more bad antagonists then the 2 Judgment games.
I can only remember one cool Yakuza character from both games.
Anyway the gameplay itself is fun and what you expect from previous Yakuza's. One thing i hope the added to the first game is the ability to change the maps to rotate, on console version the map is fixed in the first game and you can't change that and it drove me crazy.

Yakuza 0 is probably the best Yakuza game though.
Storywise, I'd say both games still kinda bad, but better than the Yakuza games outside of 0 and 7 on the sole basis of the twist not being retarded.
I don't get the praise for Yakuza 2's story when it was one of the dumbest bullshit ever.

I think they're all alright. None are so long that it becomes a issue. That is if you don't 100% sidequests. Yakuza 4 and 5 changes things up which is a breath of fresh air.
Yakuza 2 was alright too, but the way it transitioned to 3 was just pure bullshit.

Been playing this for the last couple of weeks after I never really had the time to play it on the PS4.
I'm surprised at how detailed the side experiences are in this, last that I heard this was more of a budget title in the Yakuza universe and RGG were using it as sort of a side project, but the sub stories and activities are still very deep and engaging.
The story seems great and the gameplay/combat is a lot more fluid even compared to Yakuza 6.

If this were a budget title, they wouldn't have cast popular Japanese idol from popular and very controlling Japanese talent agency to play the main character.
If there's a budget title Yakuza title out there, it's Kiwami 2.

Yup and this also resonates with what I mean by a "budget" title.
A lot of features were cut from the previous Yakuza games in the Dragon engine. The city was a template already available from Yakuza 6, there is no karaoke (which is one of the most popular features in the game, but I guess Kimutaku performance fee, even for a couple of songs was too high), there is only one main city and a couple of closed locations that you can explore.
I'm not saying that it's a bad game, I like it a lot and I think it's great, but they decided to sacrifice some of the side features for a more star studded cast.
I don't agree that Kiwami 2 is "budget title", the game was fully built in the Dragon Engine, Sotenbori didn't even exist in that engine and they created it from the ground up, yes some locations from the original game are missing but they fully created the assets from nothing. Also there were a lot more activites and side stories (+the Majima saga) compared to Kiwami 1. Kiwami 1 re-used assets from 0 and 3 and was also released on the PS3/XBONE as far as I remember.
