Seems the new PS Plus is online on US accounts, gonna grab Miles Morales, Returnal, Demon's Souls and Death Stranding when i'm back home... perhaps more still need to check the full list.

They're also adding Yakuza 0 to Yakuza 6 (with the remasters of 3-5) by the end of the year. I won't have the hours to play them all, but it's a nice problem to have.

basic PS+ with the 2 or 3 'free' games every month is now PS+ Essential. yours to keep so long as sub is active. the two higher tiers, Extra and Premium, are more like gamepass. loads of games on a big library but some of them come and go month to month.
ive found it very good value so far, although i did benefit from grabbing a load of cheap years of Premium thanks to a loophole when it started. Nowhere near enough time to get through the games I'd like to play, which is the mark of a working sub service I suppose.

bloody great list...big games like Rift Apart and WD Legion, but also want to try stuff like Bus Simulator and Story of Seasons game.
PS+ Extra has been really good imo.

Honestly if you have a PS5 but not Ratchet & Clank, i wonder which games you are actually playing on PS5 (unless you just got one).
I still think PS+ isn't that great because it's only old games (except with Stray).
Unless you like to play them 2 years later.
Of course there are always hidden gems, but Ratchet & Clank is far from being a "hidden gem". It's a Sony AAA, that most people already bought day 1.

Yeah, guess I'm lucky because Rift Apart was one I never got around to because so much other stuff I've been playing. So a welcome bonus. And I guess being a patientgamer has its perks.
