Yeah, your absolutely right. Bethesda have done some great modifications to the engine to make it look so good.

I knoow Oblivion doesnt run on that tiny speedtree render, but i mean... If they can have that many trees and stuff on a realtively simple render engine, Bethesda should also be able to make Oblivion run..... okay...with......alot of....... trees........ I dunno..

because it's such a big game, the disc is heavier than a normal disc... thats not the leg of the 'N' you see, but the handle to get it spinning while placing it in your drive Wink

This picture has to be a sign that someone has it which is not under the eye of Bethesda.

The settings are obviously turned down, none of the models have shadows. Bethesda would never allow a picture like this to be release.

I'm thinking ... in all this crazy fake-fest, didn't anyone ever tried to mix together a few official screenshots to create a new one that would fool people for a longer time ?
Like take any scenery sshot, erase a few tree, redesign mountains a bit (not to hard) then put a monster from a dungeon screenshot in the middlle...

BTW, I suck at photoshop ... and it would require good photoshoping skills to make it look legit.

cool, speedtree is used in oblivion. on main page , on the right it says bethesda, u click that and it takes u to oblivion website


u click speedtree in games, then it shows u some screens...click one with what looks like a tower in it and then it shows u screens from oblivion
