what i dont get is that the dev pulls every kind of shit and the game gets slammed review wise for 3 or maybe more itterations but people keep still buying it.....
Yup, as long as all the pears will keep supporting such laughable practices nothing will ever change, then again that's how the industry operates. Casino-related shenanigans and awful modes aside, we've reached the point where the series is so stagnating that even yarring the humongous iso has become a waste of time - with the same recycled framework and the many AI patterns/animations that have remained unchanged for years, aggravated by the fact that as always, PC users are getting the short end of the stick because reasons(tm)
The art of reskinning and pushing for anti-consumer greediness are signature traits of all the yearly sports games sadly, but 2K have truly become the sultans of swindle and their behaviour has managed to kill any interest that I had in virtual basketball.
So yeah.. was very interested in playing My eras mode but it's not in the pc version dear God what a decision. Was searching for it then I saw the steam comment.

It is getting a bit comical that WWE 2K, NBA 2K and Madden all still put the last gen versions on PC and have done that for years now. Maybe they are afraid with mods, people on PC would never buy another version again if they gave all the current gen features on the sports games.
This is still the last gen port on PC once again. At least Madden finally gave the PC players the current gen version but 2K is just too lazy to bother as people will buy the game anyways.
Haha, it's like a test to see how low they can effectively push it. So far so good, the game's numbers and rating on Steam collocate it alongside la crème de la crème
I was watching a stream last night and there was a guy in the streamers discord party and he said when he worked at 2K a few years back they only would check to see if the game loaded without crashing or major bugs on PC but really did not go out of their way to test the PC version since all they really care about is the current gen console version.
