There's Roche who appears out of nowhere, for seemingly no reason, never to be seen again, as a hateable Jar Jar Binx sort of character. I can't believe they added that douchebag while removing existing scenes / events / locations that actually had meaning.

Looks good, not gonna lie. All the necessary stuff is there and seems fleshed out, away from the grey of Midgar to some more colorful places. Hope they include all 5 weapons and not just the 3 they had back then (2 were cut).
tbh i like the ff series but till all 3 games come out on pc (was it only 3?) it will prolly take till 2030 tbh.thats why i didnt bothe with the games . Isnt it just one game split into 3 with same mechanics?

Not sure I would have wanted to play all 3 parts in 2050. I mean it's based on UE4 engine, people would have been disappointed playing the 2020 PS4 game in 2050 don't you think?
At least they can polish the newer parts and you can already see part2 has better textures than the old ps4/ps5 game.
In german, he could play the game for an hour and shows some stuff and tells his experience. And yeah, it really seems to have way more Open world`esqe parts.

@headshot i dont mind, the more assets and size the more we prolly get from the openworld. Just read an interview where the devs said that the openworld is seamingless and full of new secrets etc. so you wanna backtrack.
