starfield reddit doesn't do hot takes since release day
the only reason the starfield reddit didn't turn into an apocalyptic shit hole like cyberpunk was because they literally banned all the negative shit on release day. tbh i'm glad they did because it was impossible to read anything about the actual game except at the reddit.
i'm sure anyone who read the starfield steam forums can relate as to what lack of moderation does.
it just sucked all life out of me so I just gave up too. there's little excitement to be had here. They played it waaay too safe with everything they might as well have rated it for 9 year olds. Guess the M rating is just due to aurora.

he certainly sounds triggered, and likely should be. it's people like him that brought us where we are now: rock bottom. funny side note: i haven't seen any other videos of this dude except this one, nor do I care to. point is, the game sucks. royally. that's all there is to it.
I have to admit, once I started doing actual quest chains and stopped trying to explore on my own, the game became much more entertaining. Though, it could profit from a healthy dose of grit. Beneath all the mediocrity, there are some entertaining moments in the game. But you probably shouldn't play it right after Cyberpunk.

Agreed. Campaigns are where most of the effort went, exploration is not rewarded if you're not into repetitive procedurally generated copy pasted slop.
That's not saying much however as there isn't much in terms of interesting writing even in the main content. It's pretty much on rails super safe corporate board room approved gayness.
I really hope they're not planning on keeping this loading screen simulator engine for TES 6. As by the time that comes out in 2036 that shit is already retro as fuck today. they could at least hide loadings behind animations but that doesn't seem to be supported. so it's animations + loading black screen.

it's a trap though... once you get to the latter partrs of the game it all turns to shit...

Wanted to like this game. I think its garbage and a 5/10 at best for me.
I am not hopeful for TES 6 at this point.
