That's cause one can only sustain the frantic enthusiasm for so long before going physically and mentally comatose. This happens when one realizes that the chances of getting a long awaited release are inversley proportional to how bad you want it. Given the flurry of activity this past week, I'd say we just about fucked ourselves over ladies and gents. Very Happy

Looking forward to it. Sad that they scrapped the holidays/festival official mod though. Would have much rather had it. Hopefully though they'll get enough sales to warrant them cranking out those official mods full time. It would be nice. After patching what needs to be patched first ofcourse.

yes entirely true. still im having fun with commandos trying to get perfect % on missions. also finally installed Crashday, lol really funny game. got to keep busy...busy...busy......

They said they'll actually have the patch out for this on the day of release, which is quite cool I guess.

I'm playing Galactic Civilizations 2 at the moment, but it eats SO MUCH time it's unreal.

Last night I started playing at 10PM, I was just learning and hadn't really got into it, checked the time and only an hour had gone by. Then I really started to get involved, and checked the time again and it was 4AM. Needless to say I missed the 9AM lecture! Sad

The fudgetastic thing is, university breaks up for the easter holidays on the 24th, for a month. So just after oblivions release I get a month off, it's gonna be fantastic. I was going to get a job but fuck dat! Very Happy

The horse can still defend itself if attacked so armour will protect it. Does that mean your horse can die? I wonder if it can run off lol

I assume by equivalents the only thing it could be is an AMD CPU?
So what would be the AMD equivalent of these CPUs?

the horse can die, and the npc's will attack it, but the player will be their first priority.
If you leave your horse in the wilderness you can find it at the stables in any town.

So what your saying is that all the people with athlon 4000+ cpu's running at 2,4 or 2,6? (I forget Razz ) might as well trash them and get a pentium 4 3 ghz instead?. Amd doesn't use intel clock scheme, they introduced their own when their new athlon cpu's got introduced 2 years ago Razz

Apparently they are supposed to be 2.2Ghz but my system properties window says 2.41Ghz Very Happy

+1ghz

You can read a shitload about AMD and their processors on Wikipedia, the names they assign to their processors are the equivalent speeds (As of the new ones at least, there was a time when AMD was misleading in their naming scheme) to an intel chip in gaming terms. If your talking raw power, Intels chips in this case is 1ghz faster, but in terms of performance in a game, it will achieve very similar results as a Intel 3.4ghz.

A 2.4ghz AMD 64 is equivelant to a intel 3.8ghz (AMD 3800+) and then some. I just overclocked my AMD 64 3000+ from 1.8ghz to 2.4ghz and its running right at about 3800+ or about at an FX-53.

I wouldnt download anything claiming to be the game at the moment, there is a group of people spamming fakes just to get some laughs. One of them even posted in this thread and he was banned because he was apart of this group, they have their own irc channel and everything so id just hold back a little longer, or at least until its confirmed with proof.
