I emulated the PSX (MNGS1), PCSX2 (MGS2/3) and Gamecube (Twin Snakes) on the Deck over the weekend. All work perfectly. Much better resolution and no issues to speak of
Care to share the settings you used for pcsx2 MGS3? First thing I've done when I got my Deck was to try this out but I was faced with some pretty rough performance
They're fucked up for Twin Snakes on Gamecube, but then all Gamecube games feel messed up on an Xbox controller.
You have to press START + A to answer the codec FFS Just think where both START + A are on an Xbox gamepad, and how you're going to press that with one hand over and over.
But... you can remap them. The other games are fine without remapping
Is Twin Snakes even in the Master Collection? I don't think it is? Quite a weird ommission... I realize that probably Nintendo owns the rights, but if they add the NES versions of MG1 and 2, they should have also added this. But in the end, this is Konami we are talking about and they suck donkey balls.

No, TWIN SNAKES is NOT in the collection, probably because yes, the GC exclusivity, but nothing much has been lost (Atleast for me. Respect for others)

Yeah, Twin Snakes sucks. I gave up when I realised how much had changed. Level design, items/weapons and MUSIC. Why the hell would they change the music to that generic shit
Anyway, seems like quite a few mods are out for the collection now:
Bought the collection (and since refunded) to test out some mods, but MGS1 still sucks. Sounds like people are working on something that will reduce the input lag, change internal res etc etc, but until that's done it's nowhere near worth it
I think MGS2/3 are more stable with whatever they're using vs PCSX2. On the Deck, at least
