Started playing Cyberpunk again with the Phantom Liberty release. Might as well test my new laptop on something and I'm enjoying it so far, but I haven't got to the dlc yet.

Also picked Hogwarts Legacy up again for the same reason and I haven't dropped it yet so, I don't know... I'd probably enjoy it more if I was a fan of the books or movies, but even so it is competent.

Still having a blast with Elden Ring (yeah.. always on time for the party Laughing), finally got to the Mountaintop of Giants at lv105, 80 hours in.. I've never been a completionist in any game at all so far, I usually just hate this shit, but I find myself exploring every nook and cranny for the sake of it, leading me to taking my sweet time with it. Exploration is perfectly rewarding and doesn't insult the player's intelligence in figuring shit out.
It's quite the perfect Soulsborne game, both approachable and challenging, they really struck the balance with it.

it's a cute old school SW game for sure. the audio in this game (including the music ofc) is fantastic, has aged really well.

Ghost Recon: Breakpoint and Wildlands, having a blast with both.

I took a gander at the Shadow Gambit demo last night, and was fun, so I will be doing a full mimimi-portfolio playthrough in the coming weeks.

Also, in an attempt to quench my sudden thirst for something Aliens-related, I tried both Dark Descent and Fireteam Elite. Two huge, steaming piles of utter apeshit, uninstalled both after an hour.

Finished with Agatha Christie's Murder on the Orient Express, and also The Invincible, both were pretty good.

Just started playing This Bed We Made. So far seems like a nice detective/interactive story, with (supposedly) impactful choices, somewhat like Life Is Strange, but a lot shorter.

Finishing Colony Ship & HOI4 with BICE mod, of course, the only way this game makes sense. The new mod update adds food and metalurgy/ore refinement, and it's awesome Very Happy

Still on Phantom Liberty, now with having done most of the main game first for those sweet "references"

hard to let go of Cyberpunk now that it's so well rounded, the GOTY that never was, PL ending and main game endings still give me the heavy goosebumps

Wandering Sword - an RPG with a classic wuxia plot Smile Like it enough to even make a topic here.

Shining Resonance Refrain, Zwei: the Ilvvard Insurrection - surprisingly competent jrpg's.

Alterium Shift (EA) - one of the three heroes is a they/them, but it doesn't really show in dialogues, so I'm fine with it.

Talos Principle 2

I like the overall design and the plot is ok but I breeze through the puzzles too fast and since I haven't become any more intelligent, ht game must have become dumber. Thats a bit of a bummer.

"Enlightenment is man's emergence from his self-imposed nonage. Nonage is the inability to use one's own understanding without another's guidance. This nonage is self-imposed if its cause lies not in lack of understanding but in indecision and lack of courage to use one's own mind without another's guidance. Dare to know! (Sapere aude.) "Have the courage to use your own understanding," is therefore the motto of the enlightenment."

Not much time for games these days, so decided to start playing some very short, less time consuming games:

Kingdom Come Deliverance - New game(!), as old saves were deleted.

Witcher 3 - New game(!), haven't played it for years!

Cyberpunk 2077 + DLC - New game(!), to see all changes.

Playing 10-15 mins per session will take me to the GTAVI PC Definitive Edition launch. Laughing

Rogue Trader

Only did the prologue on the ship, and still in the first chapter, but liking a lot what I've seen so far. Scifi always wins over fantasy for me.

I think I'm gonna install this one too and start it up. I was on the fence on whether I should wait for a few patches first... as was the case with their PF games previously. But I powered thru the bugs in WotR and had a blast with my Lich. Looking forward to this one.
