A friend of my wifes from work. an anti-doctor, anti 'big pharma', anti big-[anything], "you dont need medication, plants and vibes will heal you" type lady.
Said what I can only describe as the weirdest, most backwards outlook of effect = cause, and not cause = effect I think I have ever heard yet.
Wife was talking to her about a doctor appointment she needs to get to tomorrow. And the chick said this:
You should cancel it. Doctors make you sick to keep you coming, it's all a scam. How do I know? EVERYONE I know that goes to the doctors often is always sick or something wrong with them, people I know that rarely go are never sick. It's not hard to see what they doctors are doing. You dont think its weird only the people that go are the ones that end up sick. See the connection?
Uh...yea. Sick people goto the doctor. People not sick, dont go. You have your logic backwards.
When I told her that, she keeps defaulting to "They are sick, because they go! I don't go to doctors and I'm not sick am I?"
- Car mechanics break your car. Want proof? Every car I see at the mechanics is broke. The cars out driving around are not at the mechanic shop and are working fine. BAM! Never take your car to a mechanic, they break it.
- Restaurants make you hungry to hook you! How do I know? I only see hungry people in them. People that walk past are not hungry.

One has to ask, why is your wife friends with this..... person? Did you ask her exactly how a doctor can make you sick if he/she does not give you any meds? Evil eye? Voodoo magic?
Tell her your toilet keeps making you take a dump against your will, if you just stopped going to the toilet you are sure you would stop crapping.

I guess friend is a strong word. A coworker she has to interact with, and she lives like 2 minute walk from us, so she wanders over now and then.
And docs make people sick that take the meds, and shots, and "That big machine they put you in that reads your brain [MRI]". She quasi thinks it reads/programs you mind.
Normally she's Ok to deal with. At times I'd wager to say enjoyable/entertaining to socialize with.
It's only if you get into some subject she is full tinfoil hat about does she go full "Pepe Silvia", and rants about how Big [insert easy target faceless entity here] is lying to you, tricking you, and is an evil cabal of sith-lords are doing...some sort of OUTRAGEOUSLY ridiculous thing.
Like the whole water has fluoride to dumb you down.
Or "Big Sugar" is switching to high fructose because it make minority's sterile
- Which makes no sense, Coke uses real sugar in mexico and other 'minority' places. It uses fructose here in the US. But dont bring that up, or she drags you into another rabbithole of bullshit to duct tape why THAT ties into it ...dumb shit like that.
I mean sure some/most of them do unethical shady shit. So why do you need to go full crazy and make up outlandish bullshit to have a thing to call them out on? There is already 100 things you can. Stop making up unbelievable shit to make it 101.

LOL yep.
If you get her on one of her sleigh rides thru crazytown. She starts pointing out how she saw lots about it on facebook, or twitter, or some other place. And looks it up and shows you. And its some facebook profile called "American Eagle Freedom Truth Watchers" or some shit like that.
OF COURSE you see a lot of it online, your entire feed is just a bubble of "Illuminati and FreeMason's Lizard People Exposers Inc." or crazy crap like that.
