i will never play this game im afraid

first it was "wait for 2.0, the gaem is essentially unplayable in this state"

then "since you waited for 2.0 might as well be patient and wait for DLC"

now "with PT and all those awesome new features wait until you get a new 4xxx gpu"

And once you have a fancy gpu: you better off installing Windows10 on a VM machine and play it that way.

they're excited about AMD's new tech and work on implementing FSR3 properly, which will take more time. meanwhile they're also improving on PT and all that Nvidia tech

still a good game even without

because otherwise you're gonna have to add an OLED screen to that equation for the ultimate experience

CP2077 is one of the best OLED/HDR games there is, even despite a fairly high black level in many scenes

wouldn't trade my C9 for (almost) any GPU that was simply the greatest upgrade in terms of visuals in the past couple years

But why wait? Game is more than playable for majority of people, story is great, graphic is superb, so there is no reason not to do it. You can always replay it with new hw, once you have one.

You won't be able to turn on RT overdrive settings unless you have 4090.

And considering they've announced Ultimate Edition, I don't expect game to change that much or will have level of support it has now. Either you take it for what it is now, or wait, but it won't actually change anything (maybe except your hw Smile )

Next cards will probably double ray tracing performance or double the generated frames, so it will be playable even on 5070 good lol

better boss fights and metro system was nice, stunts with motorcycles could be good too.

not sure i always understand them though because i know they said there would be no gameplay updates from now on, only fixes. now there will be new bugs that they need to fix on top of other bugs.

i made the right choice to not start playing it yet i think Very Happy

This was their last content update (2.1). Only bug fix patches will come after this.

Believe it or not, I play 1.0 till this day. It's great with all of the bugs. Non stop laughing.

I also play the newest as well:
1.0=laughter
Newest/a:"Optimal" performance
Newest/b:Maxed out as max as possible 4k+ with stutter/10fps

I'm the few people who actually likes choppy/bad performance somewhat.
