Maybe it's locked behind an online login? I have no idea.
However the beta is a beta and therefore missing a lot of content so it's not a huge loss. I'd rather wait for the full and then the enhanced edition. I've yet to play WoTR.
Yeah, like BG3, I'm not touching a game of this scale early either. Looks great though
I've played the alpha just to see how it looks and feels, and it was great. Stopped after a few hours, though, didn't want to spoil any of the fun, either.
I'm a big fan of Owlcat and their Pathfinder games, but somehow the alpha and beta just don't seem to click with me. I mean the WH40K universe is very well realized here and the music is top-notch, but the gameplay just feels slow and boring. There's very few abilities to click and even fewer of them seem to make a difference. Like clicking on the adept's "clue" skill and related debuffs just feels like a huge waste of time. It may just have to do with my unfamiliarity with the ruleset. I didn't find the slow gameplay a problem playing the Pathfinder games in TB-mode.
Anyway, I'll still play through the game just for the story, universe, atmosphere and music. I just wish combat was a bit more exciting. Maybe it gets better at some point.
Yeah, I have decided I will avoid any and all media/info about the game from now on because the companions video last time already contained a major spoiler.
Shieeet, didn't realise this was releasing so soon
It may be "releasing" soon, but it's releasing in the same way that Baldur's Gate 3 "released" - in that if you play it on release you'll be in for a bad time.
This is Owlcat we're talking about - it's going to need - at minimum - 8 encyclopaedias full of patch notes before it's in a semi-playable state.
I can never be free, because the shackles I wear can't be touched or be seen.

Yeah, that's why I'm still hesitant about buying it now. I've played both Pathfinders when they were already in the Enhanced Edition territory
Are they really THAT bad? I can't recall if WotR or Kingmaker had this kind of beta tests etc.
Also, I'm one of the lucky people who had no issues in Cyberpunk at launch...
They are no longer a Russian company and don't pay taxes in Russia if that is what you are worried about. Look at the release schedule above - they don't even have a launch time in Russia.
