My brother is buying the CE so I will save the money but still I can't wait  . The good thing is he'll be gone for a week when it arrives and it will be all mine. My riiiiiinnggggggg..

What's so special about third person? Oblivion will probably have it (at least on the PC side) just like Morrowind did. It's not really functional it's just for looking at yourself.

When it records the counter is red, not yellow.

When it records the counter is red, not yellow. |
damn i was just trying to make myself feel better, if that guy at a hardware mag gets 21fps, what chance do we have :/

Well it may just be that he switched his view and the game was just calculating that. He's probably playing with AA on and all that too.

looks like 1027x768, maybe slighter higher on a 17" fatscreen

Hey I used to have the exact same monitor,it should be 19" if it's entirely the same...
About the framecounter, it could be that he uses ATi Tray Tools or Omega Drivers because you have an option in ATT to show FPS just like Fraps.
