The saddest part is there isn't an event 'yet' to put a massive global light on these indie / AA games (that often are more innovative, original and have more heart than today's AAA shite).
I think we should do something about it.

That Steam Deck giveaway is amusing this time around as the site they hyped up goes to a broken Gleam page since the show started and when it finally loads up after 2 hours it puts you into a queue to access the page that has more than a 4 hour wait time.

There was a recent interview with Fromsoft who confirmed it’s a ways off I think.
