Oh yea, I guess if you use the default SD vanilla checkpoint its crap. But I dont know anyone that uses that since new checkpoints it: Download file, toss in folder, it works. If you know how to cntl-c cntl-v (or draga file) thats all the tech you need to know
Plus the speed, I'm spoiled. If I have to wait 10+ seconds for one pic. I'd give up.
This is just SD for this, SDXL looks even better, but too slow for me. I am spoiled with a pic every 2~ seconds from SD This is it making pics in real time for me, and I can do a batch 10,000 at a time if I want :

Yea, even Automatic1111 is nearly dummy proof now with the stand alone.
Download zip, unzip somewhere, and run. thats it. No python to install, no knowing git commands, nothing. If you can use 7zip and know how to click a bat file you are ready!

Just tried the LCM sampler...man it FLIES on generation, at less than 10 steps and damn good. Even 5 looks good but not faster it seems, reason below.

Now we literally have the cure for all cancers and charge whatever we want. Because how much is you and yours life worth? A lot I suppose and they will figure out how to pay it to not die. Well yea. But exactly same as in how it is now. I mean any big medical thing you need done (at least in US) is like that. They dont need to invent a new way to have that happen. It's already existed for 50 years
Need $300k surgery or die? Have surgery -> spend life savings pay for what you can on it -> opt into CUREA loans to pay for the rest (or other medical loan company).
Enjoy your new life of not dying soon, so you can live longer working until you die and leave your spouse bills. A nose surgery I had cost $57,000 total, to remove some polyps. Imagine what they can charge and seem 'reasonable' for the literal cure for cancers.
Way less work and effort: Cure them once for massive lump sum profits, vs needing to produce chemo drugs forever at a high cost and effort and a trickle of money over time compared.
And one more person cured to reinforce they are the gods of pharma companies, the rest cannot touch us: We cure fucking cancer! And we just did it again bitches! We will take that bag of money now please.
Imagine the stock prices rocketing for that company the instant they reveal they have a cure for cancer. No amount of average people doing ongoing chemo and paying for it at average level people can afford for it, would match that level of value.
Find it, patent it, and have 7-10 years (patent life) of being the medical pharma money powerhouse exponentially dwarfing profits of those that still make "old boring chemo shit, that people still die anyway from".
As you need to keep in mind, not only do they want to maximise profits off you. They want to crush any current competitors to get that profit also. A cure for it would do that in months.
(Not to mention the boats of money licensing it out to whoever they deem worthy and grovelled enough for the rights to pay out the nose to license it)

I'm in the RE4 DLC and I asked it where to find an item, and time after time it says I need to explore the environment for where ever I am in the game. Very vague, no specifics. It keeps giving generic nothing answers even though I told it where I was at in the story.
I have to explicitly tell it to google it now (even though it won't google as it uses Bing)
These things always start off so well until they need to make it work at scale, at which point it gets dumbed down. Then all the political red tape they need to adhere to, companies to worry about, copyright issues etc etc. I can't imagine how watered down and useless this thing is eventually going to be
