"Enlightenment is man's emergence from his self-imposed nonage. Nonage is the inability to use one's own understanding without another's guidance. This nonage is self-imposed if its cause lies not in lack of understanding but in indecision and lack of courage to use one's own mind without another's guidance. Dare to know! (Sapere aude.) Its not bad, but still, 12GB VRAM leaves a bitter aftertaste.

RTX 4070 Ti SUPER seems to be quite solid upgrade. This release makes 4070 quite useless for the original price. Sorry ixi!
Considering that I got the 4070 (Asus Dual) for about 600€ whereas the standard Ti versions have never been under 800€ here, I can't complain. The Super-duper variants will most likely come with a markup as well because reasons(tm), since sadly the official 'Murikan prices don't mean much around these parts. Hell, the vanilla 4080 is still starting from ~1200€ which is absolutely mental haha.
Aiming for the 4070 Ti Super for them 16GB mainly. Coming from a RTX 2070 Super 8GB (wich recently got coil whine when playing GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY and affected DOOM ETERNAL too)

True dat. NVIDIA's prices are usually without tax, so the actual prices can be converted into euros 1:1 + shops' 5-20% margin.

asus cashback?
good luck with that
TIL that cashback thing exists. But nah, I bought the card from my friend's local store without any of that Cazzus promotional nonsense.
Edit:
Just checked out of curiosity and it isn't even available here in the Boopilands, probably for the best
there will never be another doom/quake/unreal/farcry/hl2/crysis moment, maybe QD OLEDS will do it one last huraa but i doubt ill ever be amazed and wanting to go out and get parts anymore
nowadays i relish in getting as much fps as possible with as little euros spent as possible

The target audience is completely different today, they don't care that much for innovation - getting something kinda the same as the last one is fine.
4070 super brings more bang for the buck. still thinking about going for the 4070 ti super....
upgrading from 2070 super (the boy will get that as replacement for his gtx 1060, because i cannot fit that 1060 into the case of the wifes pc where a 1660 super is; my old htpc).
changing my 3700x for a 5800x3d as well. the only thing i need is time for gaming

if its the future how come nobody is saying their ai core will help with frame generation or any of that other bullshit extra frames technologies... why isnt this ai chips helping with this frame generation stuff... thats what is mindbogling, and proves its all a giant fucking scam and onlyusefull for 0.00001% of customers
Shocking results.... Only about 3-5% faster than 4070ti.... wtf. Atleast I can be still ok with my last april's purchase ... lets see what the 5070/80 will be.
