This game is still absolute garbage, with or without a crappy season. Everything is designed backwards by people who have very little in common with this subgenre and probably Diablo.
The build variety is great, that's why everybody plays the same thing.
Everyone plays the broken one shot builds, amazing that hota barbarian for example still can hit for billions, it was supposed to be fixed this season... Also they cant anymore nerf or fix anything, or else the modern cry babies start crying how the game is not fun anymore after you cant one shot eyes closed every content. Diablo 4 has so much potetntial, but the dev team seems to be full of clowns, the expansion is their only shot to save this, PoE 2 will piss all over this for sure.

3 shouts, i dont have problem with the gameplay, we need set items and the promised runes.
i made it to lvl 9 in s3 and already got pissed off at reading all this yellow shit items again roflol , this game is a goner, a ripff off and a scam , no set n runewords, fuck all them devs
I just started on it (ive had it laying about since l bought my new pc. Got it with the gpu).
Its really impressive when it comes to graphics/sound...but is it me, or is there something missing? I cant put my finger on what it is. I've played the other parts to pieces, but that was a long time ago. But its something with this one that is off.

One of those is that unique, eerie, mysterious atmosphere that Diablo 1/2 had. You KNEW that some sort of an evil is around and it wasn't ALL explained, like in D3/D4.
Knowing now EVERYTHING about "nephalem", angel + demon sex, demon relatives and their fucking entire genealogical tree makes it all so... random, unappealing, unfun.
There's absolutely NOTHING left for the player to discover, imagine, wander or wonder... everything is explained so that the casual audience doesn't feel left-out...
As a casual that is ignoring completely the "end-game grind / gameplay", the game doing just ok for me.
I am just playing for the sake of testing builds for various classes. Can't give a shit about end-game.
Isnt that the problem with all Blizzard games in last 20 years? That the actual 'game' isnt important. its rushing to endgame to grind?
I never got that concept. That the main thing to do, level, is just a side tangent. And getting to max level to eat thru limited created end game content is the goal. As I say. That's like rushing to get to 80 years old and go "OK I am at end game, I power aged..what is there to do?" Nothing? You rushed past all the life game content to get here.
I realized this looong ago trying WoW, and saw a level 1 guy, brand new, standing in ironforge asking "What is endgame like?"...really? This is what Blizzard is making the games? All the actual content is fluff, the goal is to spend $60 so you can try to play as little of it as possible by speed running the actual content. To get to the end game loop?
