Microsoft's Xbox division is set to lay out its plans for the first half of 2023 in its upcoming Developer_Direct broadcast, due to air on 25th January. Expect to see updates on the new Forza Motorsport, Redfall and Minecraft Legends. Don't expect to see Starfield or get an update on the company's never-ending attempts to buy Activision Blizzard. |

xbox prolly gave up on the console war it seems. I wouldnt be surprised if there wouldnt be a next gen console. So consolists are prolly stuck with ps6 or switch 2 in the future.

Well, with them canibalizing their software sales (that rarely turn a profit, even in the most favorable scenarios) and shit like Starfail bombing as it did (they absolutely expected it to sell a shit ton of copies, at least on PC due to peeps wanting to mod it without all the gaymepass restrictions) now they have to drop that wreck at derpstation too.

Microsoft will just en up as a service like valve and epic it seems. They might or might not give up on game development, but given the trends in similar cases, they likely will.

tbh microsft i and has been mainly service company for years now ... its just that the Xbox side of microsoft is lagging behind on that |
