They should have ponied up and went with EAC. That "GameGuard" option is going to scare a lot of people off given it's origins, and is probably less effective anyway.
I can never be free, because the shackles I wear can't be touched or be seen.

Agreed!
The explosions and physics make it look a hella good time!
Apparently the game can also be played single player which I didn’t know until now but as it’s been designed as a coop game, it’s probably not that good, a bit like Redfall maybe?
It will also be possible to play Helldivers 2 in single player. Consequently, if you prefer to play alone rather than with other players, you can do so without any problems. But does Helldivers have a single player campaign? No. There are no modes, like a classic campaign, that you can play alone. For this reason, our advice is to play the game in the company of other people in order to make your gaming experience as fun and balanced as possible.

All of the negative reviews are because of the anti cheat, crashing problems and connection problems , game itself seems to be fun, will wait too tho .
Played a few hours on PS5.
The game is great and surprisingly enjoyable even when played solo.
It gets tough on your own from medium difficulty onwards but I suspect it will get easier as more upgrades are unlocked but that’s going to be a grind fest.
I tried to join a multiplayer session with the Quickplay option but whenever it found a game, I got a message that the lobby fails to load or something.
I like the variety of weapons and exploring the points of interest but the 2 player doors are disappointing lol.
I’ll probably put a lot more time in at the weekend though
Another review from you guys ? Cuz I don’t trust headshot where all games are great and amazing and never boring.
I’m scared this one gets repetitive after 1h or so.
It’s a ton of fun especially in coop which I’ve now also played.
It can get repetitive and some missions are over pretty quick.
It’s a decently priced game and not £70 despite the heavy monetisation.
Why on earth do people buy these shit coop games? If WAB is to be believed there is little enemy variety, basically no mission variety, no story, pay to win systems. It's a truly barebones game with probably fun gameplay, which seems to be the only advantage the game has.
Theres currently 8 Terminid and 7 Cyborg types with some of them limited to higher difficulties. A third Faction was supposedly announced before but i havent found anything concrete about them.
