Why does he drive from the middle of the car? I suppose accuracy of driving, but that seated position would drive me crazy in that rig
Seated left (or right) side of car for those type cars 'feels' right for me racing. Otherwise it feels like I am driving a go cart.
Also I would disagree, Immersion factor: 3/5 in objective rankings of realism. As VR is immensely more immersive. No amount of flat 2d screens come close to it
VR in 3 axis motion racing rig...mind blowing immersion. I have flinched, panicked, and closed my eyes for accidents at high speed while my heart nearly beats out of my chest.

Also could use direct broadcast like RC airplanes do. Didn't watch the video but if he did it with mobile 4G/5G seems an over complication for wireless control and feeds, that was solved in the RC world 30 years ago.

Energy drinks are health hazards and stupid. They're marketed as smart soft drinks making kids and adults think it's a healthy version of soda that gives them energy. Drink a cup of coffee or two instead.

The energy drinks alone wasn't the issue here. It was caffeine overdose through a variety of products, and obviously a bodily weakness. I'm gonna guess this guy "chugs" 3 energy drinks on a very regular basis though. Lots of people do. 1 a day or so is no problem.
