Just finished the story. Quite a solid game it was, really enjoyed it. And after credits cutscene they give strong hint for the plot of their next game.
Now need to do one ng+ cycle for the plat. I hear it's not so easy since difficulty seems to spike a lot.
Don't you need 3 endings for 100%?
You do, but you can backup safe and do two endings in one cycle.
Anyways i'm doing third one in normal for the "Truth" ending I couldn't beat the last boss in ng+....
He does so much damage can't keep up, level doesn't matter at all. you must be pretty much perfect like those no hit guys.

It was a great game, definitely one of the best that came out this year and I'm saying this despite not being very keen on the gameplay being parry centric. The story is interesting, the setting is captivating, the challenge is there and the gameplay is fantastic.
I have very few gripes with it. The level design could be better, some issues with the UI and with the responsiveness when swapping items. Nothing that's major.

so i guess i'll have to dust off the game pass subscription finally and check out this one
The only thing that could be improved in my opinion is the side content - optional areas, quests, exploration. This ties into the level design - it's pretty basic.
Yesh, this genre is really tiring me out. I just can't do the 10+ death runs anymore, just want to delete the devs off the planet. Reached the lava robot boss and it feels like it's enough. I'll git gud with something else.
Eh, the game is good, definitely the best souls-like and my favorite game so far this year.
I do dislike the focus on perfect blocking and the fact that the whole stagger makes most 2h/slow weapons unusable. They're already bad against fast enemies, but then you have to do a charged heavy attack to stagger and that is really hard to do on most enemies with a slow weapon. Fortunately one of the boss greatswords you get early (Seven-coil spring sword) is also the only greatsword and really only 2h weapon that I can actually use the charged heavy attack on most enemies with the right timing, the move set just makes it work.
So far I've kept to just dodging and mostly no blocking, and it has been a struggle at times. I'm somewhere around midway through the swamp area, and the most I've died so far wasn't even to a boss, but the first time you fight the fat clown. That was an embarrassing number of tries, but it actually made me much better at the game, so it has been sub 10 tries on all the bosses since I think.
The tracking is a bit excessive and some enemies are ridiculous with how many attacks they chain or how many variations of held attacks and shit they can have, but overall I like it a lot.
2h weapons have another big advantage that makes them worth it: block value. In the final fight I used an secondary weapon with low weight and no upgrades just to trigger stagger.
Yeah, but not if you're playing like me without blocking. It isn't even something that I went out of my way to do, I just naturally go to rolling. I guess I just can't associate the blocking as a thing without the shield.

Well that might be a feature..are they MY dick pics or random ones. I'm sure my priest wouldn't mind cold dropped dick pics of strangers, and save me the time of having to send them by hand each week. (When I do confession he says my penance is 3 holy mother marys and 4 dick pics...if I can automate that saves me some time)

They really are unoriginal bastards with these clones though, god damn. Every little thing. Animation when switching direction with a keyboard also feels like it was made by a donkey. Maybe it plays better with a gamepad.
