Beyond Good and Evil 2 is an online, multiplayer game with a rich co-op and seamless experience. As such, the game will only be playable with an internet connection in order to have seamless navigation, receive dynamic updates, and play with friends (which is certainly better when you're playing as a Space Pirate!). The choice to play co-op, however, remains yours to make, so playing BGE2 solo is absolutely possible if you're into that lone Space Pirate kinda thing... |

When the game was first announced at E3, I initially thought this was the direction Ubi were heading in.
IMO I think they are heading towards a more online model because the game has very little content and will be relying on user generated experiences to carry the game.
I kind of expect the game to be Ass Creed/Division in space.
There is absolutely no reason why this game cannot have an offline single-player experience for players. Why publishers don't use Single-player campaigns as a means to draw players in, then use multiplayer to extend the life of the game.

I do somehow enjoy their assassins creed games though, but i dont touch much of their other games with the same formula. Far cry is the only one i believe

Old news, the remastered game even leaked on the Ubisoft+ platform and screenshots + videos have leaked already back in december 2023. Ubisoft even communicated about it and tried to calm down people who were worried about the graphics, since people think the remaster looks horrid.
The game is also releasing on consoles, Nintendo Switch included.
