According to this:
they had to release this shit due to some singapore and/or canada state funding which involves training new developers, which explains a lot when adding to that they probably dind't even bother chucking in some proper management for those newbies.
Really sad if this is taking funding away from smaller and more talented companies

Yeah, I mean, they could've just changed directions again for the quadrillionth time and just make it a AC4 remake called: AC4: Skull & Bones or something.. full circle propably would've made a lot more moneyz
this really is one of the funniest fuckups in gaming history, like imagine them instead spending all that money and TIME on black flag 2 instead, such an easy sell. but no..
of course, it's good that sometimes you go in a new route, but this isn't that, this is as generic and safe as it gets.
wouldn't surprise me if we won't get a black flag 2 (or remake) because of this flop.

But again, like this, how can you have any hope for it? They'll shove in whatever current scam is going on (NFTs etc), the protagonist will turn into an utter douchebag, it won't include all content at launch and it'll be AAAAAA+ priced

yeah rumored i think, but who knows if it gets funded to the end. I don't have any faith in anything. i'm mostly speaking from how it likely would make more money or at least be somewhat of a success, not that i might buy it personally.
