Meh, I was hoping that the über-woke era we've been in was about to fade out. There have been signs but I guess we're not there yet.
These shows have like a 2 year preproduction-production-postproduction cycle.
So even if we're past peak woke (hopefully) - the cringiest stuff is gonna come out in the entirety of 2024.

Ohh no. People are just waking up to what i've been saying for years already (you know that ) but not many have actually fought to start normalizing things yet. Something here, something there, but it has to be more grand scale than that, and people won't change unless they have to. Meaning there has to be some threat or it's just gonna be hollow whining.
I mean you gotta realize some of those projects have been in the making for years, or even filming in part for years

This, the pendulum has started swinging the other way already, but there's some stuff that still has the momentum of peak woke being released just now.

I fear that even when (if) the age of constant pandering and ham-fisted divhurr-city will eventually end, ineptitude will still remain for the most part, so the current annoying ewok-ness will be replaced by a more conventional type of mediocrity. An improvement over what we have now, but I don't realistically expect any miracle patching in the entertainment industry.
