Dark Souls PC on release wasn't rough edges, it was an absolute abomination. And it pretty much made me not bother with the game, and the same applied to other people I know. Fuck rough games, there's a limit to that. The only reason I even gave it a second chance is cause I played DS2 and liked it, so I went back and played the first one with mods. And sure, it's a great game. But no, it is not acceptable to release like that.

Yes all of those can be earned ingame as well. And yes, i dont like these dlc practices myself but lying about them being bought only isnt doing anyone any favours either.

It's not even just the performance.
Camera sucks with mouse, controls suck with mouse for the most part. Flashing objects, canned death animations, low FOV, UI elements that can't be clicked (eg. press F to scroll), NPCs walking through one another. Performance is awful, and absolutely nothing seems to justify it. Looks average as hell. Then there's the microtransactions that they revealed on launch day. So many people have hard ons for this game that they'll overlook it all. How many ways do you have to fuck a customer base before they wake up. It's pathetic. The original was something to behold on release. This aint.
Refunded as well, left a negative review. Eat shit CAPCOM.
