im more interested in this from the perspective of PC doing well in the market. BG3 performed so unvelievably well, that in a single quarter it grossed more money than every sony exclusive that ever existed in 30 years with the single exception of Spiderman, who made them 800 million dollars. In 5 years, and with console bundles. Even if BG3 isnt the game the press made it out to be, i think its a better suited game to be this succesfull than all the others in the last 15 years. Best selling lists filled with cod and fifa and madden ...

those numbers are impressive indeed
but like qqq said, i'd be more interested in sales by platform
still haven't touched the game but i suppose (even act3) it is by now in a pretty good shape

How is this GOTY, overwhelmingly positive is beyond me.
and AFAIR Larian with DOS and DOS2 kept high prices for quite long time, so no suprise here.
