I'm definitely getting strong Toddaut vibes from the trailers, with the glossy post-aesthetics and the rather streamlined tone - the one that enjoys the Pointing Rick Dalton meme and resembles Disney's version of the Star Wars franchise. I hope there will be some proper depth to it besides the collection of nice vistas + Goggins moments, but I haven't invested any skill points into Expectations and the power armor is on so I'm pretty safe in that regard.
Unfortunately it's Todd's stuck-in-time Falloutverse but the trailer was really well put together.

I like fallout but for whatever reason just not that interested in a tv/movie of it. Maybe it's because I expect the tv show to play it safe and just copy paste things we've already seen and be tailored for genZ/millennials.
I think what i hated the most was the voice for the brotherhood of steel guy, just a generic dude talking and then they pitched it down way too much so it becomes obvious that it's just that. if you are South Park, that's what you do because it's funny, this isn't SP.

Probably why they keep saying 'you can't please everyone', which is true, but also something you can use to make the above trailer seem more palatable
The location looks too clean and like a set, doesn't look lived in. It's lacking something in terms of atmosphere, the grime or that the world is radiated. It just seems sterile.
When the power armor came in to the scene... dear lord
i thought this show had the same showrunners as westworld, like when it was first announced, but it has other showrunners
nolan only is director for 3 episodes and no lisa joy
and the current 2 showrunners one did screenplay for the new tomb raider and captain marvel and the other was writer to some meh comedy shows here and there
there u go, now it makes more sense as to why it looks meh
I can never be free, because the shackles I wear can't be touched or be seen.

This is a show that’s certainly worth watching. Even if you’re not a Fallout fan, it’s setting itself up to be a great series in its own right. I’m immensely excited to a) watch the first episode again, and b) binge the rest of the series when it releases exclusively on Amazon Prime Video on April 11.
