From what I can gather, they're against it for the voices, which I think is what Toni was referring to. The author mentions:
Quote:
A big help here was the use of Voice AI
But unless voice actors give their permission for this, the Nexus staff are against it
Personally, I think people should be able to do what they like. Think of the amount of textures / sounds etc that would have been used over the years without permission. I don't know why AI gets such a hard time when people have been ripping shit off for years. It's a mod as well, it's not being sold.
what are you talking about
the corporate overlords do not approve of your behavior
To be honest, I almost HOPE the nexus cucks reeeeeee and kick this off the site, if only to see it then on banned mods sites.
Side by side with drumpf companion mode, enclave ethnic elimination extravaganza and similar mods

So it's not a separate update from the main game? It fucking better be
They typically do this so that the newer versions still retain all the positive reviews. It would be incredibly dumb for this to happen after 9 years of mod releases
Yes, it is happening. Fallout 4 is finally getting that promised next-gen update, bringing the wasteland experience up to a silky smooth 60fps with increased resolutions on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
This update, which is free, includes native applications for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/ S, Performance mode and Quality mode settings, as well as stability improvements and fixes.
Those playing Fallout 4 on PS4 and Xbox One, meanwhile, will be greeted with improved stability as well as login and quest fixes.
If you are more partial to exploring Fallout 4 on PC, don't worry, there are additional features for you as well. Those blessed with higher-spec PCs will soon get widescreen and ultra-widescreen support, as well as fixes to Creation Kit and a variety of quest updates. There will also be a number of bug fixes and such.
Rounding out the PC-specific news for Fallout 4, the game will soon be available on the Epic Game Store, as well as being Steam Deck verified.
So, when is all this happening? Well, in the very near future. Fallout 4's next-gen update is arriving 25th April.
In addition to all the above, Bethesda has also promised "even more" Fallout 4 content, such as:
Enclave Remnants
Enclave Remnants brings the Pre-War cabal, The Enclave, into the Fallout 4 storyline. In this new quest, "Echoes of the Past," can you stop The Enclave from spreading their dangerous ideology and gaining a foothold in the Commonwealth?
Along with workshop items and the Enclave Colonel uniform, we are including the following previously released Creation Club content:
Enclave Weapon Skins
Enclave Armor Skins
Tesla Cannon
Hellfire Power Armor
X-02 Power Armor
Heavy Incinerator
Makeshift Weapon Pack
Ever thought a piggy bank would make a great weapon in a pinch? This weapon pack includes a variety of unconventional objects that have been transformed into deadly weapons, such as: a baseball launcher, a nail gun and a piggy bank.
Halloween Workshop
Leftover from an ill-fated Halloween party, thrown by the New England Technocrat Society, these 38 new Halloween decorations include witches, cauldrons, ghouls and more! Decorate for Halloween or make your settlements spooky all year round!
A few days after Fallout London. probably to fuck that up too

I don't fully understand what PC gets as a selling point. Most of the paid CC content is crap. No list of fixes? So it's likely the unofficial patch still fixes more? 60FPS? I've been playing at 165FPS. It's going to mess up more than it helps.
FONV + FO3 are very much desert wastelands, but I don't think FO4 is very deserty at all. Maybe one section in the bottom left of the map, but there's not much to do there
There are also grass mods, seasonal mods etc to change things up
I will.
Already have for FO3 and FONV and the using those versions as a base for my FONV, FO3 and Morrowind modded versions has proved somewhat more stable than the steam versions.

Maybe i should give Fallout 4 another try. I have failed twice though
Ohh fuck these games yet again. Tried installing new vegas and a mod pack called "begin again" Looked fine and the instructions were ok. But then i wanted to kick the modmakers teeth in at the mod organization bit. Just a complete fucking mess and i don't know what goes where in mod organizer 2 and i'm not gonna spend 2 hours fucking setting this shit up. Jesus what piece of garbage shite.
On a similar note, I too wanted to reinstall FO4 after watching the show. But then I remembered how I loathed base building and inventory management, so fuck it, no.
