Pedro Pascal is someone you see everywhere as well, but if you go from Game of Thrones (super cocky, confident) to The Last of Us (ultra serious) to Narcos (serious, funny / playful at times) you can see he has a range. I totally understand why he's everywhere. Then there's Matt Berry, who if you took his voice/accent away, would pretty much be left with no appeal.

Monkey Man - weak 6/10

The first half of the movie was ok but suddenly it became a film school freshman's fever dream with unnecessary montages, retrospections, multiple exposition of information we know. I get it, his home was destroyed, I don't need to see it in shaky cam 10 times in a movie in one minute snippets. I don't understand why I have to see him punching a bag with launda dancers watching him. It was established from the first minute of the movie that he actually knows how to fight. If it spent a little more time in the cutting room it would be a better movie.
It's just another 2 hour movie that could have been a 90 minute one for it's own sake.

The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare - 5/10

Visually appealing (as usual for Guy Ritchie stuff) but a weak trope that has been done to death for decades on end already - "Invincible squad of misfits kills evil Nazi's in Africa". At no point was there any suspense or surprise. I'd recommend watching the BBC series SAS Rogue Heroes instead.

8/9 Excellent! Where did this come from??? Was not expecting much at all. First time director sure hit it out of park. The second half went completely sideways and unexpected. Highly Recommended

It's The Last Stop in Yuma County , not city. Very Happy

I was pleasently surprised with Eiza's British accent.
I was also surprised that at the end we didn't see our protagonists being pardoned by the king George VI.

The Last Stop in Yuma County - 7/10
Tarantino light. It's enjoyable to watch a movie with a smart script even if it's a simple story. And it's another staple Jim Cummings movie. I don't know if the guy is authistic but his reserved acting is always mind boggling for me even if I enjoyed every of his movies and movies he stars in. He is somehow a rising star in indie movie community and everyone is prising him. But I'm going offtopic here.
The movie is enjoyable light tarantino crime story but has its shortcomings that I can't exactly pinpoint, I mean it should be definitely more tense. But last act is pretty great and unexpected.

Abigail - 4/10

Low budget, poor actors and simple story. The actress/main character is okay. And WTF, what is Elon Musk doing playing a role in a movie? Did he pay for it or something? He's absolutely horrible.

Haha, I think he means Kevin Durand Very Happy The movie has several "knock off" versions of other people, my gf and I like making a game of it. The leader guy, with the glasses, looks like the Aldi version of Michael Keaton.

Boy Kills World - 6-6.5/10
Well the action was pretty well choreographed, except "stormtrooper accuracy". Overall from the trailer I should love this movie. Unfortunately it's tonally all over the place - the premise was wacky action revenge movie with synthwave music but apparently they had ideas for a couple of movies and decided they will do them all at once - what starts as a computer game spoof ends as Oldboy meets Raid. It even has the guy from both Raids.
It doesn't have synthwave music, it has some generic shit music. Ehhh... overall falls flat. 6 points because it's violent and gruesome.

The Zone of Interest - 7/10

Minimalistic by design, the movie shows how far genuine evil could go by juxtaposing the camp's constant harrowing background sounds with the nazipears living their cosy lives in complete indifference. I was expecting a bit more substance, but it's very effective.

Farming Simulator 1755 (Bastarden) - 8/10

'Twas a pleasant surprise, with Mads fully delivering the crops as usual (the rest of the cast is convincing too, especially d̶e̶ Schinkel), all wrapped in an authentic rural atmosphere and some solid old-school storytelling.
