It's a 7/10 for me. Gameplay feels like a huge downgrade. No bosses or mini bosses, a more casual approach to combat, familiar puzzles and way too many long walking scenes. It's meant to be enjoyed as a purely cinematic experience, but as a huge fan of the first one, the sequel feels diluted in almost every aspect (except for graphics of course).
There are a lot of 4K screenshots at max settings in the review. For some of them I used a mod to remove DOF, Filmgrain and other post-processing effects.

sounds like the first one is actually better. And the first one was not good at all, just interesting in how they tackled a person suffering from psychosis. This sequel seems to barelly be a game at all. Reading bits from washington post makes your hair stand up.

I just noticed it is only $50 on Steam. Rare for a new big release to not be the usual $60 or $70 now but maybe they realize a lot of people will just Gamepass it anyways, so they are trying to at least get some PC sales on Steam giving it a more affordable price.

The game is just 5-6 hours long.
And half of that will be spend on puzzles >.>

Open Engine.ini , under [SystemSettings] add these lines or if you don't have SystemSettings copy and paste this at the end of the Engine.ini document.

Probably the best graphics in a game I've ever seen, but man, what a snoozefest. I think this would actually be better as a pure walking sim without the minor, repetitive puzzles and combat.
