ugh cant bilieve i fell for the hype, the starting scenes was complete joke ... wtf were they thinking

the boat stuff in end and city stuff could have been cool if the rest wasnt TOTAL TRASH , holy fuckballs, no buildup, trash main character, like coooomooon seppuku

Subs fine, Godzilla scenes great, but too much pathos and emotionalism in between. Typical asian overacting. Gave it a hard 7. Good enough movie but I preferred Shin Godzilla (2016) to this one.

Shin Godzilla was still much better. The way it showed godzilla's evolvement, its unsettling atmosphere

Japan is godawful with a few things, movies is one of them. At least in 2016. This movie though was quite alright!
