* 10+ main bosses and additional side bosses
* Map is more densely packed
* Around 100 new weapons
* 8 brand new weapon types
* DLC reportedly around 30-40 hours
* Map is roughly equal to Limgrave + Weeping Peninsula + a touch of Caelid
* Enemies overall are faster and more agile
* Shadow Realm Blessing system - beginners can use a stackable consumable (Scadutree Fragments) to reduce incoming damage and increase outgoing damage
Probably not without downloading the files as there's a separate depot for the DLC.
The more concerning part is that it seems valve starting to take actions against dlc unlockers for legit games. Looks like the alrady implemented checks for some of them and when it detects it you get a warrning message
Cream api itself is still fine at this moment though.

Fromsoft DLC tends to be annoying AF.. that snowy area from DS3? Awful. Some frustrating AF bosses, albeit cool setpieces. Endboss of DS3 dlc was amazing.
Bloodborne's was fantastic for the most part, however.
I'll still play this i think but i have a completed NG playthrough that I never found Mohg in, so i dont know if i'll have to dump another 60 hours into it to even try the DLC. sucks.
