I bet this will become my favorite game of all time after this DLC, or at least in the the top 3.
Great to see DLC's with this kind of massive content, it means people will expect more from DLC's overall, but i bet this DLC will "hold the beer" for quite some time though!
Any journofags whining about "much difficulty, much accessibility" yet?
My story with souls games is that I venture forth, get rekt a few times then quit the games forever.
Some games are just not for everyone, and they definitely should not try to ruin themselves to cater to everyone. Just be really good at what your audience likes.
I loved Armored core 6 by them but didn't last long with souls/elden ring and I respect that.

wtf
One of the site's resident morons was whining on how the base game didn't have enough hand-holding "wah waaaaaah I was afraid of jumping in the hole at the start ahbloobloobloo", now another one complains the expansion has too much hand-holding?
Well the latter can happen but it's nonetheless still funny to see such a contrast.

Didn't they hint at some way to further help players that are not so skilled? Like a passive bonus or so? Not sure what it will actually become in the final version of the DLC. That whole difficulty discussion is just so silly. Give people the ability to make their game easier, everyone else can just enjoy these things.
While I finished all DS1, 2, 3 and BB, I have to admit I enjoyed ER much more once I could cheese through the game with Hoarfrost stomp. Now that they nerved it I will need to find something else. With a 50+h job and 2 kids I don't feel like powering through the game...

Well they nerfed the spirits didnt they? Or at least the stronk ones.
they should have kept that for us old men damn. i'd have a tough time without that strongest one. i can see how they were nerfed, game wasn't exactly hard.
hmmm.. buy the complete PS5 version for 70 euro, where i have a save file.. or replay on PC and yarrr this?? do i want to play the main game for 50h again, unsure leaning towards getting the PS5 version again.
tried the PC version for a bit, and i do think it looks a bit better on the 3090 than on PS5.
In the end I couldn't be arsed to prep a new character and so I got my level 150 save ready to go.
I'm genuinely hyped for this and I rarely get hyped nowadays. It's like 2022 all over again.
Gah, just noticed I don't have my old save anymore from back then... Well, I think I'll just cheat a character to lvl 120 or so. At least once the yarr version arrives...
