Ok false alarm looks like i did start NG+ i really didn't remember doing that.
Oh well gonna be a while before i get to play this
Major fail this DLC, they need a revert back to NG if this has happened. It wasn't a big deal in their other games since you can run through them quickly. I remember beating Sekiro NG+ in a single day.. this bloated ass game though sheesh.
this knight npc mini-boss is a cunt. High poise, physical damage negation and does like 40% of my 1.7K HP bar in 1 hit and that's with the Dragoncrest Greatshield Talisman.
Also his tracking is absurd and he heals twice during the fight. And he's a boss you run into right off the bat and he's got an absurd health bar.
I'm having fun so far.

Believable and relatable...Yep, sounds like Call of Duty

Same with the knight guy in the main game. But you're supposed to upgrade yourself with shadow upgrades first

Just loaded up my savegame and apparently I have 1800 hp and 15 million souls, enough for +40 levels. Hope this will help me get through the DLC

I upgraded myself twice and he was still a tough bastard, but I beat him and the loot looks good.
Edit: Holy shit, ran into a magic themed boss with insane combos. I'm loving this so much so far.
@Stormwolf, yes, that one.

Twice the one that actually upgrades your defense and damage right? The first you get things for is horse and summon stats
Another overrated release by From Software. They are clearly the new Kojima, no matter what they put out, it must be showered with praise.
The graphics are dated as hell, but that's alright because of the content and art.
The content has a ton of reused assets, but that's alright because there are cool bosses.
The bosses have tens of thousands of hp, it feels like a Korean MMORPG. But at least there are plenty of new weapons.
Most of the new weapons just look different while behaving like older weapons and when I say old, I mean weapons from Dark Souls 1. But Ubisoft is the problem, From Software reskins are allowed.
I played enough to find it rather repetitive and frankly quite boring.
Most bosses I encountered are just annoying, I have to move around for 15 seconds so they can finish their combo so I can land 1-2 maybe 3 hits if I risk it. And you are supposed to do this for 5+ minutes because of the increased hp pools
I'm either numb to it at this point or the sense of discovery pretty much relies only on the artistic direction. It's not even as compact as advertised everywhere, it's mostly made of plain fields filled with nothing.
Don't expect any fixes to older problems like controls, camera, performance, UI, enemies hitting through walls, etc.
In 10 years, Whatever Souls 6 will still have the same problems as Dark Souls 1 because we said nothing. Oh man, is this game a metaphor for Romania's politics?!
WTF? That was it? The trailer built him up to be this big villain and it doesn't appear he's the big bad after all. I just beat him in way less attempts than Malenia, and his second phase is cool and all but that was it? I was expecting some insane 3rd phase that never happened.
There's probably a boss(or bosses) ahead that's the 'holy shit, what was that?!' boss of the game, but Messmer ain't it.
Still a cool boss, though.

As flawed as ER was it's still way better than most shit that gets shoveled down gamers' throats.
It just needed a good editor to snip about 30% of the game's content and limit the repeating bosses and copy pasted tileset dungeons... which might be where the comparison between Kojima and Miyazaki come in.. they probably don't have anyone telling them no.
What about all the technical crap they keep on reiterating?
i dunno, what about it? Most people have no problem with it. Graphics are good enough. The shader compilation stutters AFAIK were fixed a long time ago.
I am skipping it for now. Saw some streams and I am not gut enough for this.
I finished all these games and Lies of P last year but this seems mashochistic

I found my save game , I had not in fact gone on to NG+
Went and killed Mogh and figured i would decide afterwards if i wanted to buy and play the dlc. Kinda over this game tbh. I loved it early to mid game, late game just too much BS and just annoying ass enemies i run past.
