Anyway the game is not a walking sim that's just a exaggeration there is combat and there are puzzles although a tiny bit simplistic, i had to search around for a bit on some puzzles and combat is not even that easy on the hard setting i died constantly.

Anyway onto 1000xRESIST for me i heard it's much better story focused game then this one.

finished it, i liked it more than i thought i would, there are some slow parts sure but then it makes up when things start to ramp up, there are some crazy moments, the whole cave section was like straight outta the movie the descent, very well done.

i dont mind another one but it shouldnt take so many years to develop a game like this

It's a tech demo that requires upscaling & frame gen to run ok. That's the downside of shoving too much detail in a scene that it tanks performance so bad u need blurry vision to run it = all said detail lost anyway.

It's terribly optimized as it would run well then the moment a scene changes or u look a certain direction it's a slide show with nothing of note visible.

I went back to this today and finished it since I only played a few hours at launch. For a relatively short game, it went on for longer than I expected. Overall I thought it was pretty great, maybe too similar to the first game and there were some pretty bad pacing issues but I’d give it a generous 8/10. I really enjoyed the story and characters plus the visuals are just insane.
