They took away the broadcasting license for Formula 1 from Ziggo Sports.
They took away the broadcasting license for the Premier League from Ziggo Sports.

And now they are almost bankrupt. Evil or Very Mad

The first two things you mentioned... no loss imo (well, i guess it is if you are into that kind of stuff).

The falling stocks comes as no suprise since i personally think Viaplay is among the shittier streaming companies.
Very rare that I find something actually worth watching there and if i do - it always turn out to be one you have to rent.

shitloads of new stuff in my pc. Cant keep track of it all.

Sorry, I didn't even notice that you replied.
In the past after a period of mainly watching YT, I switched to mainly watching sports.
(handball, volleyball, football, snooker, pool, three-cushion billiards, cycling, F1 racing, etc.)

Viaplay took away part of the fun.
In the meanwhile I have grown to be football/sports tired.
The (for me) interesting sports are scattered over many channels.

Edit: Ziggo Sports used to broadcast the Mosconi Cup for example.
US versus Europe pool billiard in team form, the only pool tournament where the public is allowed to cheer and scold. Wink
It's no longer there. Sad

So now I like to fulminate about the loss of the regular Eurosport internet subscription. The old internet subscription allowed the viewing of many channels. For example, during the Games — I know it is not everyone's cup of tea. — they try to stream all events.

Meanwhile Eurosport was taken over or merged with Discovery+. And now it has become a sub package of HBO Max. So I need subscription to HBO Max, and an add-on for the sports. The Dutch public broadcaster for news and sports (NOS) fortunately covers the Tour de France. I'll make a decision about HBO Max when the Games start.

Dammit, the greed these days about sports broadcasting licences. Evil or Very Mad It's not only the broadcasters, but also the organisers behind the tournaments/events.
