Yup, it's true.

Game crashed on me after I completed the cellar mission in Innsmouth.

But thus far, it's quite kewl.

There are some glyphs in this game that are very remeniscent of the glyphs in the Thief-trilogy.

OK, redid that mission, and it seems like it's a bad crack (or something?).

Can someone else verify too? It's from when you've gotten to the small town Innsmouth (you get there by bus), into a certain cellar.

 Spoiler:

...and there's where the game hangs.

I did 15% of the game so far . You can see this by pushing escape than statistic .

No hang , no crash , everything fine .

btw
This is not a game to play while on drugs , lol .
Kinda scary shit ... Very Happy

Finaly a decent game , this is good .

From what I've seen, this title has gotten average/mediocre reviews everywhere, and that's when it was on console. Is it REALLY that good? Honestly doesn't look like anything special to me. I've only got 15 gigs freedup, with 10 of those ready for Oblivion, thus why I was asking. Too lazy to make space

What's it having going for it? Just the "Oh shit!" factor?

I beg to differ man.
Gamerankings puts the average at 78% from 10 scores ranging from 60% being the lowest to 86% being the highest (From a site called Gaming Target - don't know who the fuck they are, thus that 86% isn't too trustworthy). The majority of the reviews are LOW 80s.
Added to the fact that this is a console title (the reviews Im looking at), and they are almost always graded alot more lighltly than PC titles, I get this kinda bah average feeling.

Gonna give it a go anyway I guess though..bored as hell.

at 4 a.m. in complete darkness, alone in a house, this game does have some serious scare potential, though the gfx were a blend of Soldier of Fortune 2 and Thief 3...

If you're into first person fright games, this one's worth a look

from what i read about few opinions of yours on recent games you are just a trigger happy cs kiddie, every game where you need to solve some puzzle or stop and think for a minute is shit to you, so your opinion is laughable.

You act like a fucking child who's had his dummy taken away. I think it's safe to agree with Glottis, your opinion is worth less then nothing.

If you even bothered to look around the store instead of running around like a headless chicken then you would find the trapdoor behind the counter and use the handle on it. But I wouldn't bother, this game will be too cerebral for you I can tell.

They should put a warning on the box 'THOSE WITH IQ'S UNDER 70 MAY HAVE DIFFICULTY APPECIATING THIS GAME ON ANY LEVEL!" Laughing

all I can say to critics is that this particular game is for more MATURE audience who can appreciate a good story, atmosphere and something different from just another kaboom sh*t, and I really think that more games should have some logical puzzles in them because as we see on this forum the general tendency nowadays is more killing, less thinking. Oh, and it's clearly visible on the younger audience when they can't blow the door open with a grenade, they think the game sux n/c Rolling Eyes Embarassed
