A day later I get the fucking comment removed and a strike against my account for "violating community guidelines", apparently it was too "explicit". Guess making a tongue-in-cheek comment with a sly quote from Monty Python and the Holy Grail (the film is rated PG mind you), isn't inclusive for the absolute fucking faggots running that clown show.
Seriously, is there any place left, aside from here, that isn't censored into the fucking ground? Shit's ludicrous.

I still stand by a free service, that cost you nothing they provide to you. That You voluntary access, is limited to their rules. Biased ass rules or not. EVERY site has rules, it's only a problem when they don't line up with what you are OK with them being.
I see it as a house. I/you own it. Your rules apply. Doesn't matter if I agree or disagree, if I don't follow them I can be asked to leave. 'impartial' is not applicable.
You don't allow cursing in your house I cannot pull the "you need to be impartial in your house rules'.

I'm also worried about Musk overstepping but at least he keeps getting shit for it on his own platform. Community Notes definitely help.
It's happened a couple of times which is inexcusable, but not as often as media says it does.

Customer service "helped" me with a problem THEY created in the first place. Had they done their job correctly in the first place, help would not have been needed.
I'm not belittling them, but rather drawing attention to the fact that so many jobs that require just a touch of critical thinking are staffed by those who either don't care, or don't know how to use a bit of common sense.
It's kind of like that hurricane I referred to in your other post the other day.
I was without internet for a week and a half - when I spoke to my ISP immediately after service came back up they said - "We still show an outage in your area - we can't give you proper account credit until the outage has been resolved."
Ok, fine. I wait a couple of days and then contact them once the outage was officially "resolved" on their end, to which they replied - "We don't show any outages in your area, we can't give you credit".
I called up, get put through to their retention department. I explain the situation - he acts like he's doing me a FAVOR for me being such a "loyal customer" by issuing me a one time $40 bill credit. Nah, that's not how that works. You, the cable company, were unable to provide service for 30% of the current billing period - give me back what I paid for said service.
My point being that UNLESS you call this kind of sub-par bullshit out in public, it doesn't change. Hell, it probably STILL won't change. But I'll be damned if I'm just going to let fucktardery like that slide.

Imgur has unfortunately been on a downward spiral for years, which began with the site pushing for a clumsy ad-infested mobile app, followed by the adoption of some very heavy-handed moderation that nearly killed off their community section, and finally the complete removal of NSFW content (by making all the regular galleries automatically private also).
It's still okay for random uploads but their new automatic compression is another nuisance that wasn't present before as it visibly ruins screenshots, among other things. Silly giraffes!

As I said, its because he supports their side. He gets a free pass. Thats where we are today. Conservatives were not like that two decades ago but thats how far society has been divided.
