Actuly I think 1280 is a minimal res for gaming... anything lower that that, and it looks REAL ugly.
I dunno about xbox360 games, so I wont debate wether its good or bad. I always play RTS games at a minimum of 1600x1200 cause it gives much better overview, FPS I demand a minimun of 1280x1024... otherwise if its lower, even sharp textures/and or effects looks consolish(ps2 xbox and lower) IMO

Same thing will happen with this release, as did with Doom3.
People were whining "where the fuck is it? People are playing it allready! waah!"
Then the first release is a clone on a bt with only one seed, and it gets 15000+ leechers in minutes. Tracker dies, so nobody gets it.
That was funny.

Well if it's a "good" clone like The Godfather one then I'll get it fast and I hope it's a clone soon ^^
But the weekend is at the end so monday and tuesday whould be ok ^^

Heard it got nuked because of a crash after tutorial... this is why it did'nt show up I guess.

What all this shit about Oblivion not looking good because its on shader 2.0, from what I understand, the graphical differences between shader model 2.0 and 3.0 are minimalistic and basically look exactly the same. It was mostly designed for performance increases, not a brand new graphical overhawl like most think.

What the fuck! Shader 3.0 looks a lot more realistic! There are these glow effects in water and on hills and everything looks better. Watch the vids from elderscrolls.com then you see the nice grafics with 3.0!
But wheres the fucking rls? Can't see it yet :evil

pixel shader 2 and 3 have mostly speed diference and almost no visual diference
