Finally! The game is suddenly gonna be good and praised
Nah, it'll be the same stuttershit as FFXV (apparently doesn't happen with the Origin version, but that one isn't even sold anymore and wasn't cracled, sadly ).

it's a really good game but the side quests were awful to do on release because of the way the travel system was setup, they patched it much later to make them way easier to turn in etc and that probably makes the game much more enjoyable i wish i waited actually
In before PC players whine because it seems to me the cutscenes are capped at 30 fps (like on PS5 in performance mode if i remember correctly)
If they are video files, they can never not be 30FPS
Cutscenes in general seem to run fine uncapped, it's just those few every now and then that are capped to 30. They also look compressed and shitty, I would have assumed they were videos. Why would they cap at 30 otherwise? You literally go from one ~120FPS cutscene to a 30FPS one. It makes no sense.
I suppose the easy way to tell would be if photo mode works (if you can rotate camera and so on) while they're playing
tried the demo. liked the second part of the demo more.
Questions:
Does the combat evolve much more or do you rotate between 3 forms?
Is the story a little but GoT like brutal?
The ifrit part is made out to be a plottwist but how is it a plottwist if it's so obvious?
No spoilers please....
You can always have up to 3 Espers available, as well as 6 abilities. In the beginning, you are limited to using the abilities from the associated Espers, but with enough exp you can freely assign any ability you want independent of Espers.
At that point, the only difference an Esper makes is the effect of the Circle button. One Esper can teleport you forward, another one can block, others can charge up attacks and so. There are no elements in combat or similar, you can fight fire monsters with Ifrit etc. without any downside.
Combat works the way that you find a few abilities you like and then try to juggle their cooldowns, but that is already overstating it. in reality you just use the ability that is available and inbetween spam normal attacks. The game does not incentivize specifics builds, nor does it require it for the most part.
Setting is similar to GoT and overall it's mostly a war story, quite little "fantasy".
I hope I am not sounding too negative on this game, there are some really great setpieces that it's worth playing for alone. But as I and others said previously, just skip most of the side quests (you can do some with a "+" that improve your potions and so on).

On PS5 it never felt fluid for me, even when it supposedly run in performance, 60fps mode. I had a feeling of stuttering and choppy animation throughout the whole game.
Complaining about micro stutters is the new trend. Youtubers use this for clicks with video's with minor frame drops from 75 to 50 with a graph to show it's realy that bad.
With arguments like but Horizon forbidden west runs so much better (a PS4 title)
Performance is fine, could be better, but nothing in life is perfect.
Only reasonable complaint is the fps cap for cut scenes.
with the medieval setting and hack and slash combat i thought with this game it will finally get me into the ff series but still find it too jap crap. game plays itself sometimes, spongy enemies and combat feels more style over substance, lackluster level design, and the characters and the story arent compelling enough to keep me going, looks straight out of anime which i dont like
The anime style jap crap is part of the charm of the FF saga. It's a mix of a serious tone (GoT style) with jap crap anime on purpose if you ask me.
Same goes with FF7 Remake. I don't think these games intend to be as serious as let's say Starfield.
