Well obviously a lot of people don’t care but some do, myself included.
Im sick of the paid shill bullshit reviews conspiracy we’ve had to put with for years now just as much as anyone but it is what it is and it probably won’t ever change.
I’ve decided to give Ubisoft £15 for at least a month to play Star Wars Outlaws via Ubisoft+ on the Xbox Series X.
It’s playable now too apparently after I moved to New Zealand!
It’s nice not having to wait until midnight too!
My review in progress with the first hour PC of gameplay at max settings (including RT to Ultra) and some screenshots. Graphics are amazing, but performance is awful, sadly.
So, bothered to watch this one and it seemed like a decent review, in summary:
- Great visuals
- Excellent exploration and open world
- Uneven performance
- Good audio
- Solid stealth mechanics
- Mission areas are too linear and restrictive
- Shitty action gameplay
- Awful AI
Verdict: Buy on sale or play with Ubisoft+ subscription.
I’ll admit I am easily impressed compared to a lot of people here but I’m loving this game, no joke! If it wasn’t a Ubisoft published game, it think it would be more accepted than it is.
Obviously I’m not a PC gamer but the performance mode on Xbox is plenty good enough for me. Gotta say it’s incredibly immersive so far and there have been no bugs in the last 3 hours I’ve been playing it. Doesn’t deserve anything less than 8/10 in my opinion
