I've watched it. It was ok. Main "problem" is the actors, they are wayy too old, but other than that, its a simple action movie with "borderlands" theme.
They really didn't put too much borderlands into it: no cool weapons, no hero powers most of the time, and only a handful of the persons you know from the game are there. It was quite suprising that a few scenes are on Promethea.
I'm quite suprised why everyone says "its a disaster, sucks etc.."...or wait yes, I get it: It's the reason why everyone loves todays shows with all talk and no action (thrones, house of dragon etc...)
Yeah what blackmail does Eli have on actors and why not blackmail someone relevant to the part.
Do they think Cate Blanchet has the star power to attract people interested in dumb GotG copy pasta?
I dunno if it's in this case, but i know that some actors have in their contracts that they can choose what movies to be in like 9/10 times then the 10th time the company can pick any movie they want to put them in, which i guess is a way of trying to boost a movie using well known actors.
I think i read something about this a couple of years ago (like when World War Z was released...something about Brad Pitt feeling unengaged in that movie was supposedly due to being more or less forced to star in it)

i dont understand how this was greenlit. A woke wasteland looter shooter with no memberable characters or story.. I didn't play anything outside the first game.
