They're intentionally trying to make it look bad though. Quite pathetic. I'm not a defender btw as i'm not interested in playing it, at least not yet.
Why is that pathetic?
People did the same to no man's sky. The game got better
People did the same to cyberpunk.
(Remember the gta 5 comparision videos) And now the game has pathtracing even if some water physics effects etc arent still the best(maybe they are? dunno)
Maybe they course correct and fix things? One can hope but i doubt it.
Ubisoft can do better. Even if there is a controversy around ass creed shadows it seems to be looking much much better than this.
Graphics aint all but this game has repordetly boring gameplay as well.
"Guys, so that star wars game was kinda shit but we can do so so much better, we swear!
Just look at AC Shadows, that will be much much better, trust us, please! We might even get it right at release and not have people needing to start it from scratch after 24h because we fucked up the release version"
Yeah, not seing ubishit pulling an NMS or Cyberpunk with this crap, sorry

Also spend 150 Euro on our game to be able to have as much fun as possible!
The areas themselves look pretty nice, but it feels kinda dead. I remember being impressed by Ass Creed Origins' graphics because of all the dynamic clutter and foliage. Like leaves falling from a tree on a river and then following its current. Stuff like that made the game a lot more alive than just some nice textures. That game's already from 2017 too.
There must have been a door there in the wall, when I came in.
Truly gone fishing.
thats because devs knew how to make a game, use all the tricks etc. where this one and avatar have more advanced engine that do so much more than ac engine but dev is not that good
I can see your soul at the edges of your eyes..

Guys! There are so much hate about this game, but i love it. If you are a star wars fun of the first trilogy, just play the game you wont regret it especially tattooine.
Like the most classic surprise Pikachu moment, things didn't exactly pan out for Ubi (including the decision not to release the game on Steam):
Quote:
Ubisoft stock prices have tanked by over 10% in the past two days following a lukewarm reception to Star Wars Outlaws.
At the time of writing, Ubisoft Entertainment SA stock prices are at €15.50, a level not seen since December 2014. The stock price puts the company’s market cap just shy of €2B at €1.99B. The tepid response led J.P. Morgan to slash sales forecasts by 2 million units, predicting 5.5 million units sold by March 2025. Combine a slash in sales with Disney’s hefty licensing and it’s not hard to see why investors are skittish on the company’s immediate future.
But that’s not all. Just last week, Insider Gaming reported that XDefiant, the publisher’s free-to-play hit that firmly contributed to the company’s Q1 financial success, was in big trouble. According to our sources, the game is on borrowed time, and it risks losing its much-needed post-launch support if the developers can’t bring back players by the end of Season 3. Ubisoft declined to comment on the report.
