Fixed an issue where enabling FSR could cause crashes for some players during startup or the prologue.
Fixed a crash issue in certain areas of the Webbed Hollow when NVIDIA Full Ray Tracing is enabled.
Fixed an issue where hair would stretch abnormally.
Optimized the hair effects for Yaoguai King "Lingxuzi".
Fixed an issue where abnormal blocks appeared on the ground in the battle scene with Yaoguai King "Yin-Yang Fish" on PS5.
Fixed an issue where certain enemies could get stuck motion in specific situations.
Slightly reduced the stats of Yaoguai King "Captain Wise-Voice".
Fixed an issue where the attack from Lesser Yaoguai "Lantern Warden" in Pagoda Realm could push players into walls.
Fixed an issue where the Destined One could get stuck in performing "Whirling Thrusts in Thurst Stance" and become unresponsive.
Fixed an issue where the Destined One could not switch stances properly in the sixth chapter.
Fixed an issue where the Destined One could encounter stats errors in specific situations.
Fixed an issue where the icon for the quest related to Yaoguai Chief "Daoist Mi" would still appear on Travel menu after the quest became unable to complete.
Fixed an issue where the progress display for collecting Portraits in Journals was incorrect.
Fixed some text errors in Chinese.
Added translations for Portraits in several languages and optimized existing translations.
Added translations for song titles and lyrics in Music library in several languages and corrected display errors in English lyrics.
Optimized translations for Talents, Equipment, and Inventory in several languages and fixed some text errors.
Improved the layout of subtitles in several languages.
Optimized the translation of loading screen tips in several languages.
Beat it. It looks great, the level design is meh. The combat is a bit floaty, the normal enemies are pretty bland but there are lots of bosses to make up for it. The "secret" boss can go suck a dong.
They obviously ran out of steam and the later areas are not very interesting.
I should have re-read the book prior to playing though.
a lot of reviewers complained about there not being enough build variety or that exploration is lacking or that itemization is mostly just "get the latest one which will be best"... again shows how little time and effort they put into actually playing these games.
just check utub, ppl keep coming up w the craziest shit in terms of builds (that actually work) with different spirits/transformations/skills/items/weapons ... heck the earliest set can be considered one of the strongest after upgrading
also while the story seems kind of fragmented from chapter to chapter, i think that the actual "storylines" within the chapter are absolutely fine and interesting. this is helped by some of the most interesting characters/npcs i have seen in this genre for a while
oh and not to forget there is a SHIT TON of secret content/areas hidden in each chapter .. again you only have to look for it.
now don't get me wrong, i am as suspicious of Chinese game-developers as the next guy but this is objectively a GOTY contender in my book

I kinda wish it had stealth and the bazillion invisible walls can go fuck themselves
that ability where u spawn more monkeys seems a bit op dont u think? combined with the freeze one and both of them maxed out and my monkeys alone do like -50% hp of a boss...
but u also have transformation then that spirit that head bumps they also do like at least another 20% free dmg total, then ur left with not that much dmg to do by combat + another freeze spell..
think game was harder at first but with these things maxed out its a bit op, i just started chapter 4
I'm at the middle point of chapter 3 but i mostly stopped using spells except "spell binder"
It removes all your mana and gives you a substantial attack boost.
I invested into mana and it's good enough to melt everything to far.
I haven't even picked a stance in the skilltree.

Empress mostly did that to her/him/themselves. Has been toxic to everyone else in the scene so can imagine how many wanted to take her down just to have the final laugh.
As much as I appreciate playing isodemos thanks to these people, I am sure big percentage of them are autistic egocentric narcissists like Empress herself.
